I’ve been invited to speak at the first London Geo/Mobile Developers Meetup next Thursday 27th November - hosted by Google at their offices in Victoria. Christopher Osborne has put together an exciting program for the first event with three exciting presenters:
Yahoo Fire Eagle – Gary Gale (Yahoo! Geo Technologies)

Off to Vienna
Over the next few days I'll be in Vienna for a few meetings and have the chance to catch some of the mobile content conference hosted by Comverse. The conference is focused on mobile advertising and ring back tones.
Our friend Chetan Sharma will be delivering the keynote on Mobile Advertising so I'm looking forward to seeing his presentation. Chetan is widely respected as an author, thought leader and consultant and it's always good to have the opportunity to discuss multi channel mobile strategies with him.
I'll update from the conference. Should any of you be attending and wish to meet there, please send me an email.

London Design Festival

Last week, I popped along to Prospect - the Goldsmiths’ post-grad design community’s showcase at this year’s London Design Festival. The work was hugely varied and included communication, furniture, sustainable projects, physical computing, product and exhibition design. And some mobile stuff!
I*seek was all about an activity-centered, mobile-based social network and Ludic London was aimed at providing Korean Tourists with a new way to experience London that exceeds conventional tours or guide books (and uses mobile). More...
